The most faithful version is the BBC's COUNT DRACULA starring Louis Jourdan.

I seem to recall a short-lived TV series called "Rick's Place" starring David Soul in the Bogart role.

He even popped up on an episode of NEWHART in the 1980s.

Actresses wearing modern (1930s) hairstyles - or even clothes - when the film was set in the 20s or 'teens.

TCM could definitely do a better job of showing pre-Codes from their own library. Oddly, fans request titles from Universal, Paramount, Columbia and Fox when there are numerous films that TCM has easy access to but don't show.

My favorite Dracula film is DRACULA (1931). HORROR OF DRACULA is definitely one of the best Hammers, but I always preferred BRIDES OF DRACULA (1960).

TCM has plenty of pre-Codes in its library. But when is the last time they played ARE YOU LISTENING?, IS MY FACE RED?, BAD COMPANY, JOURNAL OF A CRIME, THE FIREBIRD, BLONDIE JOHNSON, PHANTOM OF CRESTWOOD, THE MIND READER, THE FAMOUS FERGUSON CASE, THE SON-DAUGHTER, MAN WITH TWO FACES, et al???

Where are OPERATOR 13, THE GREAT GARRICK, JOURNAL OF A CRIME, THE FIREBIRD, THE MIND READER, THE FAMOUS FERGUSON CASE, SON-DAUGHTER, ARE YOU LISTENING?, PHANTOM OF CRESTWOOD, IS MY FACE RED?, BAD COMPANY, WOMAN OF EXPERIENCE, COCKEYED CAVALIERS, THE MAN WITH TWO FACES, THE HIDDEN HAND, GORILLA MAN, MILLIE, BLONDIE JOHNSON, MOONLIGHT MURDER and many others in the TCM Library?

Or 4-5 years...or longer.

ISLAND OF LOST SOULS aired in '06. It's about time it got a DVD release...ditto MURDERS IN THE ZOO.
