This thread is not intended as a criticism. It is purposely called a "challenge". Some can't grasp the concept.

So if it's too hard to accomplish something, why bother trying? It most certainly is not impossible for TCM to show pre-1936 Fox titles. Yes, it may require some effort.
-
It is now March. What month is currently being scheduled? July? August? September?

> {quote:title=heuriger wrote:}{quote}That was so uncool to say. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Hmmm. I can't see it. He's been on "ignore" for years. I suggest you do the same.
-
I hope the apologists don't descend upon you has they did re the suggestion of early Fox titles.
-
> {quote:title=helenbaby wrote:}{quote}So unless this happens it's because TCM didn't try hard enough. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
I'm probably wasting my time with this...but how would they be "damned if they do"? That makes no sense.

I've no idea what that means. But the smiley face indicates that's probably for the best.

"If you really want to do something, you find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse." - Jim Rohn.

You missed the point. But thanks for the ray of sunshine.

PENNIES FROM HEAVEN (1936) is a Columbia Picture, not Paramount.

Indeed I did. But I do seem to remember BLOOD FEAST and TWO THOUSAND MANIACS airing on TCM Underground. I'm still very much surprised!
-
I'm OK without a host. It's about the movies...Dwain Esper, William Beaudine, Ed Wood, Roger Corman, Ray Dennis Steckler, K. Gordon Murray, Bela Lugosi, John Carradine, Monogram, PRC, Crown International.
-
I received the book SIXTIES SHOCKERS by Bryan Sennn for Christmas. A ton of TCM Underground fare!

I love TCM Underground and have made many suggestions in the past.

It's almost over. Thank you, Jay-zus.

Gave me a chance to catch up on my backlog.

Just learned today that LAUGHTER IN HELL will be at the Film Forum in Greenwich Village very soon!

I second the motion for Barthelmess and Cortez.

6. Fewer post-1960s titles
7. Less emphasis on Oscar winners
8. Greater variety with SOTM
9. More B-movies
10. Schedule all the Columbias that have been scheduled and later replaced
-
1. More silents
2. More pre-Codes
3. Greater variety on TCM Underground
4. More pre-1946 Universals
5 More pre-1946 Paramounts

Too many to choose. But I just recently watched THE SADIST (1963) and couldn't believe how well done it was for a low-budgeter with a cast of unknowns.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE...?

According to some here, obtaining rights is just too much hard work.
