I rememberi watching THE WOLF MAN as a kid and not understanding why Warren William got second billing for such a small part. I didn't know at the time he was a former Warner Bros. star.

John Waters is not for everyone.
-
RKO was clearly trying to duplicate THE THIN MAN. They did so again the next year when they cast Powell in THE EX-MRS. BRADFORD with Jean Arthur. I like 'em both.

Normal sucks (thanks, Iowa).

MURDERS IN THE ZOO was also released on VHS.

Definitely...if THE MIND READER was included!

The best thing about it is the great cast...including an unbilled Bela Lugosi.

My favorite Japanese horror film is not a Toho film...GOKE, BODY SNATCHER FROM HELL.

I heartily disagree. The folks who use "ignore" are taking charge and resolving their own problems...unlike those who contact the web administrator to complain they've been insulted.

This debate is endless. "Only 37" is too many for those of us who don't particularly care to see 1970 & forward titles on TCM. Appreciate the mathematical stats, but it doesn't resolve the issue. And the same goes to the apologists who like to say that TCM has always shown more "modern" films. TCM, in my opinion, really isn't the place for Meryl Streep, Tom Cruise, Dustin Hoffman and John Landis. It is the place for Lupe Velez, "Philo Vance", Warren William and Tod Browning.

I love the Ignore feature. I think I've used it 3 times...problem instantly solved!

Not a big fan of child actors (with some exceptions), but Freddie Bartholomew was perfect in DAVID COPPERFIELD.

More "modern" films (1970 forward) are more available elsewhere. Those of us who prefer the vintage titles (20s - 50s) have fewer options and, therefore, want TCM to devote more of its schedule to those kinds of films.

I'd feel your pain if it was Rush Limbaugh.

Yeah, whing abount whiners is tiresome. More early talkies & B-films, please.

What they said.

Claudette Colbert and Agnes Moorehead

The Internet Movie Database can be wrong.

Last year, SEVEN FOOTPRINTS TO SATAN was removed from the May schedule.

THE LEECH WOMAN is awful! Coleen Gray gives a good performance but she's all but defeated by that script. It's not fun like an Ed Wood film. I expect better from Universal.

I can assure you, to a classroom full of 13-year olds, it was indeed gross.

Well, the Deadly Mantis had more sex appeal.

I loved the episode of THE SIMPSONS with John Waters. It was hilarious.
MARGE: I think he prefers the company of men.
HOMER: Who doesn't?
