Hey,Brad, was Sandra Bullock also in this movie?because if she was it's the movie I'm thinking of and it is an excellent movie.Matthew MacConnaughey(spelling?) plays Samuel L. Jackson's lawyer.Jackson is in jail because he killed a man who raped his daughter, right?I didn't see the whole movie, only parts but I want to see the whole thing.I think Garbomaniac would like it.

Wait,I hope it's a rose wine, red gives me a headache which I've already had since the afternoon anyway,I won't say what the white one does to me.LOL!!
-
I've got a question for you....What the heck is MARABUNTA,MARABUNTA??? Are you having some more of that wine there?
-
Hello Garbomaniac!! Nice to hear/see ya.What is going on?
-
Even though this all sounds like some sort of male bonding, may I join in anyway?.......pour my wine to the top please, thank you.

Leave it to men to bring out the worst in women.

It seems to me I saw Eleanor Parker only once in a western.Didn't she usually wear her hair long in the back?In the scene that comes to my mind she is standing on a porch and she was wearing pants instead of a dress. She was pretty.

SUSAN, We have to do some serious talking....we both like the same guy.I think Gabriel Byrne is so very sexy. From his amazing blue eyes to his pouty full lips to his incredibly wavy hair.Need I mention anything else?
-
OOPS!! I always thought he was irish, well, one out of two 'ain't' bad.
-
Liam Neeson is a good, contemporary choice and a tall order. He's very tall and dreamy. Here's one for the NOW generation.......Ewan McGregor, very talented and charming, loved him in "Moulin Rouge".He is now filming with another irish lad,Colin Farrell (don't like him, too cocky). They are to portray brothers in the next Woody Allen movie.Boy, he's suddenly more prolific than before.
-
Wasn't he something special? At any age he was the epitome of perfection.

I agree with you 100%.Sidney's performances were stellar in each and every one of the films you mentioned.I've always admired his work.

Here we go with sports again. The few times I can actually get the armed forces radio tuned in I listen to a sports program at noon, and I believe it's an affiliate of ESPN,can't swear by it though. -

I forgot that I also like Perry Como and Andy Williams is another good crooner.I don't have any Glen Miller but I like his work.I can't believe you don't have an oldies station where you live, where is that exactly?I live on this tiny island in the caribbean but at least we have an oldies staion,it alternates between English and Spanish oldies but it's a pretty decent station. The only thing annoying to me is that the DJ's all speak in spanish and in excess for every two songs they will talk for about 20 minutes.Oh, we also have a jazz station, not bad for Puerto Rico.Sometimes I get the armed forces radio, that's a real treat. -

It depends on the mood,I like to listen to Frank Sinatra "Duets",or Nat King Cole's "Greatst Hits", Billie Holiday,B.B. King,Dizzy Gillespie,Charlie Parker,The Gipsy Kings,Luciano Pavarotti .......then we have the other extreme;CCR Credence Clearwater Revival,The Big Chill soundtrack,Patsy Cline,Willie Nelson,Dixie Chicks,Madonna,Shakira,Black-eyed Peas,Peter Frampton,Phil Collins, just to name a few! -
I loved both "Houseboat", and "Penny Serenade", the most.Cary was also great in "That Touch of Mink",I loved both he and Doris together, and "Indiscreet", with Ingrid Bergman.I love watching him in anything but those came to mind.
