My mom used to watch the late-night movies on the limited channels available in the 70's, and I grew up watching readily-available films such as "Gone With The Wind" and "It's a Wonderful Life" with her. That was probably the start of my love for classics. My beautiful mother passed away in '88. I didn't think much about the classics until '96 when I happened to watch "Norma Jean & Marilyn", an HBO film about Marilyn Monroe's life. After watching that, I started buying Marilyn's films as well as many other classic movie actors' films. It has snowballed into (10 yrs later) a wonderful hobby. There are absolutely no more better films than the classics!
