Give Us The Earth (1947)
-
We are about to begin film preservation work on "One Man's Journey" (1933) and 5 other long unseen RKO classics. They will premiere on TCM sometime in 2007. "One Man's Journey" is a terrific picture. It stars Lionel Barrymore in one his best and most understated performances. Also in the cast are May Robson, Joel McCrea, and Frances Dee. This picture has been unseen for nearly 50 years.

The Lana Turner "Interview" number was shot for MGM's 30th Anniversary salute on Ed Sullivan's "Toast of the Town". We have a 35mm fine grain in the vaults because MGM shot it at the studio. Lana's number was not performed live at CBS Television City like all of ther others that were included in the MGM Anniversary show.
