You're mistaken. The scene you are recalling is from the beginning of KK2. KK2 begins immediately after KK ends -- with Daniel winning the championship. Pat Morita is then attacked by the evil sensi in the parking lot, beats him and tweaks his nose rather than bashing the sensi's face in. Daniel then copies that humiliating technique during the climatic fight with his rival, bring KK2 to a much needed end.
