The triumph of President Joe Biden and healing the nation

For a very long time, Blacks were subject to the "one drop" rule, as a rather extreme method of racism. But today, when some of those people (who have a lot more of "Black blood" than one drop) identify as Black (or African American) as a point of pride, a sort of inverted racism doesn't want them to do that. They did it to Obama; now they're trying to do it to Kamala Harris. I think it's another form of racism. To some extent, it's related to the expectation that people from a group should act like the expected stereotypes assigned to that group. For example, in 19th century Germany, wh -

Tell that to the coal miners in West Virginia, who think that it's their inalienable right to mine coal, which is becoming obsolete. One of the most Democratic states in America turned Republican largely because Trump promised them a return to a robust coal-mining economy. That's never going to happen. You think those miners will be willing to pick fruit?

An article from Forbes, 2019: "Exactly 11 years ago today, February 17, 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 or the Recovery Act into law. The $831 billion in spending kicked off the longest period of economic growth and job creation in American history." https://www.forbes.com/sites/chuckjones/2020/02/17/obamas-2009-recovery-act-kicked-off-over-10-years-of-economic-growth/?sh=7a06862f68b7

That didn't surprise me. As vile as these people are, many of them have jobs and lives and don't want the publicity that will now always come from their shenanigans. Hopefully they will retreat back into the shadows, where they will always be part of the Republican "silent majority." Hillary Clinton got into trouble by calling these people Trump's "basket of deplorables." But that's what they are. On the other hand, the Democratic Party has to show that it has a place for the non-college educated working class white man; that it's in the party's and the country's interest to bring them b -

I wanted to find out whether teets on a boar might be helpful and came across this titbit on Google, although I didn't look for the customary three unrelated sources that would lead me to believe that this was true. But if it's true, than teets might be helpful on a wild pig. "Pig, hog and boar essentially describe the same animal, but there are some distinctions. A boar is an uncastrated male domestic pig, but it also means a wild pig of any gender. A hog often means a domestic pig that weighs more than 120 lbs." This is partly off topic, but I was just watching the news. The Mayor of Trenton, NJ was interviewed about preparations to protect the capitol (Trenton is the capital of New Jersey). He seemed very good and well prepared. Ruth Donnelly's uncle (Frederick W. Donnelly) was the longtime (20 years) Mayor of Trenton, once upon a time (1911-1931). I wonder how he would have taken care of the situation? Would he have enlisted the help of his niece, who played a few tough lady roles? Ruth was married to the President of the AC Spark Plug company, now part of ACDelco. Would that have played into the
