I especially LOVE "Woman Under The Influence"...the entire film is flawless as far as I'm concerned.

 

BTW...sorry to hear "The Iprcress File" is out of print..I've never seen it, but the previews I saw on TCM look great! I looked into buying "The Loved One" on DVD, but apparently it is only available on VHS on Amazon, used copies only...there are SO many great films out of print...ack!

["Edge of Outside" great exc. hate Peckinpah films! ack!]

I'm watching "Edge of Outside", the documentary about independent film (yay! John Cassavetes, Orson Welles, Sam Fuller, Stanley Kubrick, etc.).

 

My god, I just cannot get into Sam Peckinpah...closeups of live roosters having their heads blown off, horses rolling down hills, ants being set on fire...this man has a serious problem...not to mention his films are SO predictable, in my opinion...ack!

 

Loving all the interviews in this show, though...Seymour Cassell! woot! Try to catch this show..it's great! Should be showing it again later tonight...after "Faces"...yay again!
