Herzog does have a very strange style. I really want to see more of his films, but they are so rare and difficult to find.

Assuming that you even know who he is, what are your favorite films that he made? I have only seen three so far because they are so rare, but I hope to see much more. Heart of Glass is by far his best, followed by Grizzly Man and Nosferatu - phantom der narch

Shawshank yes! I left that one out.

A Classic - a film that is very original, well acted, with good directing. Doesnt have to be Kubrick perfect but just great enough to stand the length of time. Many films like 12 Angry Men were looked down upon when they were released but are now timeless classics.
