ok, ive been trying to figure out the name of this movie
its black and white
its about a doctor who is "happily" married with a daughter and a son
the doctor attends to a singer one night after she passes out or something
anyway,
they end up meeting again when the doctor goes to see her perform at this night club
(i wish i could remember names)
but the owner of the club is in love with the girl but she seems to like the doctor
they end up in an affair and the doctor wants to run away with the singer, but he doesnt know how he's going to do it
so
hes in his office trying to figure it out when one of his patients comes in and dies of a heart attack on his floor
so, the doctor decides to take the dead man's identity and put him in his car and blow it up and push it over a cliff
then, he assumes the dead man's identity and runs away with the singer
and the some stuff happens and he never goes outside and she does to sing, and he gets jealous of her manager... bernie might be his name...
but, anyway, he ends up in court and in jail and then the singer visits him but hes like no, let me be i deserve this. so
he uhh, dies in jail i guess.
