You may ask why I would commend these films?? Being a student of film, I find them classic and novel. They capture the mood of the period in the sixties: one of optimism and simple romance. The Space Launch fixes "Hold On" in time and space--if I may be cheeky. Mrs Brown shows the London/ Manchester scene in the burgeoning British Invasion music explosion. The simple and sweet Herman simply personafies the romantic hero for young lovers, still tender today.
