What a great thread you started Mrs.
I have to say Bette davis in most of her films.Like All About Eve
Jezebel Elizabeth she proved she could stand head to head with anyone and she was good at it.
I like your and the other choices that were posted.
Again A great Thread

The Shining with Jack Nicholson.
I had seen when it first came out at the theaters and I was disappointed on the movie and myself felt Jack has done better roles. He was not scary enough for me . I thought the .tv made movie was done better more to the book and Steven Webber was actually pretty good in the role. I thought Jack was more creepy in The Witche's Of Eastwick. But that is just my opinion.
Also The godfather movies were over rated maybe because of the violence there is enough in this world without watching a movie filled with it. have to agree on Citizen Kane.

I love Jimmy Stewart!
It's A Wonderful Life is my all time favorite.
Harvey is my next. I don't think I have ever seen a movie of his that I never liked.
He played a bad guy in After The Thin Man he was very good at that.
He was just kind of guy I would've like to have met.
Have you ever seen Made For Each Other with Carole Lombard. They were great in that movie had me crying. If you never have You should that is one of their best performances.Mr. Stewart is one of a kind.

I am one of those moron's with out any sense that did like that movie I'm a history buff. I have to agree it could have been shorter. I also believe that it could been more to the book also but that doesn't happen much. But I do not think everyone would like a movie like that I have no problem with that this board would be boring if we all like the same movies and agree on everything. I myself does not Like Brando I like him Guy's and Dolls,
Sincerely the senseless moron

Thank you for letting me know of this film, I have never seen it. I like those stars and they always give good performances in what ever they do.

Thank You Mrs. for clearing it up for me,I am also sorry that I had Misunderstood what you meant! I never like Shakespeare,I found his writing to be very boring. What do You think of Hemingway? He is a bore, had to read his books for english they put me to sleep.A book I actually liked and people I know thought I was crazy is War and Peace. I have always loved history both world and american!
Again Thank You Mrs. and Stoney.

If you could have your own life story made into a movie.
Who would You like to play you?
What era would you like it set in?
Who would like casted as your Family
Your close friends
The person who gave you your first kiss
What location would you liked it filmed?
Who would like to direct it?
What Studio?
What Fashion designer would like?
If you could pick someone from The past or present ?
I know it would be hard to pick someone who is no longer with us.
I think it would be interesting to hear.
Also if there is someone that who inspired you growing up
Who do you think would do them Justice by playing them?

You make a good point in your statement but I have to I have to disagree but there is something I have to disagree with the statement you commented about people with lesser education .My point is that my husband had drop out of school when he was 16 because of his home life . but This man had work doing heating and Refridegeration he knew nothing about it but he learned by reading books every night when he got home from work everyday also he knows a lot about computers by reading and learning he had taught himself.I have to admire him for what he has accomplished for the little education that he had. He is very intelligent man. I had worked with a girl who made a comment about that her and this other person someone we worked with saying that she and someone else had more education between them than a high school drop out or someone with a high school graduate. So that makes me smarter than her she said to me. I had to say to her I was just High School Graduate. Her mouth just dropped. I'm not being rude I just had to respond to your thread because i always thought what you have said on your threads are on the mark but this one I have to disagree about lesser educations that it is not always true. I like I said I enjoy reading your threads.

I like Steve Martin but like someone said The original version of Cheaper By The Dozen And Father Of The Bride are the best.I thought John Candy and him were great in the Planes Trains and Automobiles. one of my favorite movies with Steve Martin is A Simple twist t Of Fate, and of course Bringing Down The House.

That is a cute name Pigeon I have to laugh because I have always liked Pepe Le Pew cartoons and I can hear him say Oh Pigeon When he is looking for the cat he has been chasing. I love animals they are great company they know when they have you wrapped around their paw.My cat's name is tiger Lily but I always call her Phsyco kitty and She gets called Lily Marie when she gets to bothering my birds. She doesn't bother our rabbit. The rabbit is adorable she is pure black with a double chin.

No you can vote any time on these threads, But I 'am starting to Think Philadelphia Story is over rated. Good cast though love Jimmy Stewart in it.A good movie with Kate and Cary is Holiday If you never seen it.They were very good in that movie. Welcome aboard.
