Anyone here that likes The Big band sound? What is your favorite?
I Grew up with parents that exposed me to different kinds of music except rock and roll.I have to say My big favorite is the big band era.
I have collected different bands I have Glen Miller for example I had seen Orchestra Wives several times I love that movie.Also like the Glen Miller Story I like the Andrew Sisters also. I would love to see big band music come back.

my oldest daughter brought her home a friend of hers said they hey found a abused and abandon cat so of course she called her dad and then me about this kitty because of my birds Of course I said yes.She stole my heart when iI laid eyes on her she likes to bring presents like dead mice.I hate it when someone treats an animal like that they would not like if someone did it to them. she may drive me crazy at times but I love that like she was one of my kids.

Thank You Mrs for your comment.I totally agree .IHave to say the only shows I watch is Medium ER and the original original Law and Order. the rest of the shows I do not bother with I use to watch A&e but now I only Watch Murder She Wrote even that station is getting bad I liked it when They had on Quincy years ago.I like Opera I wish they would have one on.It's gotten where I get DVD's and watch them on my computer I also have found some good DVD's at the dollar tree Like Sherlock Holmes Jack Benny. Give Me Clifton Webb any day the original Cheaper By the Dozen was a pure classic.I never go to the movies any more unless it's an animated movie and even that I'm picky on.Also you made avery good point about the Lucy and Desi.

Did you ever see the version of the Shining with Steven Webber I thought he was more believabl.I remember seeing Jack's when it had come out in theaters years ago I was not impressed at all with him he was not scare enough for me.If you get a chance check it out also another good movie is Stir Of Echoes I liked it more then the 6th Sense

rabbits are adorable my daughter has a pure black one with such pretty eyes. I joke an call my daughter a dead beat mom because I'm the one who cleans the cage and feeds it. My other daughter brought home a abandon kitty her name is Tiger Lily alias as physco kitty,so when she moved out I took over caring for ms Lily I 6 parakeets and 1 cockateil names daffy beleive me she is Daffy.Ms Lily loves the birds she look at them and she tries to figure how she can get to them She swings her tail back and forth,when she wants to be fed or attention if she doesn't get right away she jumps on their cages. I threaten her with obedience school she just looks at me she is such a smart kitty she knows how to get her way if she is outside she will climb up a tree to our bedroom window and meow till she is let in especially at 1 in the morning.it's creepy when you just see two eyes staring in the dark of night.

It gets to be annoying when shows like three's company and wings along with afew others are on to the point you know right away what the first scene is about.not as funny as Ms Burnette. I would to see something Like Doobie Gillis or the Ozziet and Harriet nelson show.

I use to have 13 parakeets and 2 cockatiels now there is 6 parakeets and 1 cockatiel along with a rabbit and a cat. I feel like sending that cat to obedience school Last year she end up breaking a couple of bulbs that were 50 years old. if she gets a stocking this year it might have some coal to it.lol it is hard taking down the decorations after the holidays . it depresses me because I enjoy decorating while listening to music or watching an old christmas movie it real puts me in the mood.

Unfortunately There are no theaters around that show that.I wish there was I think it would be great if there was so people could see these movies uncut.What would be better if they had theaters that look like the ones back in the 30's and 40's had the usherettes and ushers dress in those eras, my mom grew up in a small town and it was treat to see a movie and she loved the old movie houses. today the movie theaters the sound is to loud and to many commericals.Im lucky I have a dvd player and one for my computer so I can see these movies on dvd but it's not a theater for the old movies.

Mrs.is there a way you can show the pictures of the santa sets you make I would like to see them.Im been getting some holiday nick knacks getting ready to make some cookies and fudge I'm having a lady i know granddaughter over to help with cookies and some decorating hopefully this year my kitty will not try to climb the tree when we put it up.
