  3. Just out of curiosity -- and to play devil's advocate -- if the two movies you wanted each sold for $19.99 each, and the box set at the stores is on sale for $39.99... wouldn't that mean you'd be getting a whole set of movies for the same price you'd have paid for 2 single DVDs?

  8. Bluebird (1940) part of Shirley Temple Volume 6 or 7, I think, but available separately My personal favorite of this set is The Little Princess, a lovely Technicolor movie that is finally being rescued from PD hell, with most videos available featuring washed-out colors
  9. ... and hopefully, they won't totally mess up the transfer of any more Techicolor movies, like they did with the ghastly transfer of The Gang's All Here, my #1 candidate for the Hall of Horrors of recent DVD transfers.
