  1. There are certain limits that probably should be avoided if at all possible, not even for cosmetic reasons, but for health reasons. Keeping as fit as possible helps avoid a lot of the diseases that can reduce a person's quality of life and drastically affect a person's overall feeling of well-being.

  2. I am not talking about plastic surgery or "looking young" or being super shapely, or anything remotely like that. I mean at least being reasonably fit for a man of his age. Which, as much as I adore him, I don't think he was in his final years; looking at each new photo of his was a bit disheartening as a long-time fan.

And no, it has nothing to do with "plastics"

  3. "Arond the Troll in 80 Days"

    "None but the Lonely Troll"

    "20,000 Leagues Under the Troll"

    "Lawrence of Trollandia"

    "Troll-y Poppins"

    "The Wizard of Trolls"

    "Trolled with the Wind"

    "Dr. Strangetroll"

    "Seven Trollettes for Seven Trolls"

  4. You know, the one thing I kinda regret... one of the first live-action movies my folks took me to was one of the Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers. Maybe not surprisingly I was expecting it would be like a long cartoon -- the "Pink Panther cartoons" had been favorites of mine at one point.

Wouldn't you know, I didn't like that it wasn't animated all the way through (like in the opening credits) and my parents thought it best to take me home.

Ironically enough they're some of my favorite comedies now.

  5. I am a little bit sorry that he sort of let himself go physically, in the last years of his life. It's a bit disheartening to compare him in his later years with his marvelous physique in his earliest movies.

Not that I admire him one bit less over that, just wonder if there was anything that could have made his golden years a bit more enjoyable.
