  1. I meant it in reply to Dewey's suggestion that someone was galloping to post 50,000 entries before April 1st which might be his/hers birthday and then seek a prize - a real fool perhaps, certainly a pathetic one!!!

Well Larry, I think you know that nobody really pays much attention to post numbers (at least I don't think most do).

The only fool I can think of is someone who'd see others participating and enjoying sharing their love for classic cinema and then throwing a hissyfit because of it. :)

  2. That's a wonderful way of putting it Mike, under the right circumstances it can be a pleasant surprise. Let's face it Corman was no Selznick but a lot of the time he could do a lot on a very low budget and keep some viewers entertained... no harm done! ;)

  3. Well I think that in light of his recent performances away from the movie camera, a lot of people are thinking of Tom Cruise it quite different terms than simply limiting one's judgement to his performances. And this is one of the few cases where I think that, yes, perhaps off-camera behavior really should set off some alarm bells. And all the more so now that he wants to control his own studio.

  4. I watched this the other day. It was good but I kept wishing I had the right kind of 3-D glasses to watch it properly. The ones I had from a theatrical showing of House of Wax and other 3-D movies didn't work.
