Well at least the Faye collection is out, but we're still waiting on some goodies like Coney Island!

-
Here's hoping the trend will continue through 2007 and 2008!

-
I wish they could play more Dietrich movies, can't recall much lately except Kismet and A Foreign Affair. Oh yeah and Rancho Notorious.
-
I'd say Powell & Pressburger's The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, and possibly also I Know Where I'm Going!.
-
There was a whole list in "General Discussion" with all of the titles and collections WHV is going to be releasing this year and also some for 2008.
-
It's a shame so many of his movies are still unavailable. I do wish he could have been SOTM at some point in time.
-
So this set is going to be out on Tuesday, right?

-
So.... no chance he will be coming back?

-
Jealous much?

-
I also liked his portrayals of Zola and Pasteur.
-
I'd love to watch that as well, come to think of it!

My Gal Sal is one of the cutest Technicolor musicals ever with Rita Hayworth!
-
Aye, that was one of the worst. It put an end to the old MGM that had "more stars than there are in heaven".

-
China Sky and Dragon Seed.
-
Don't forget Waterloo Bridge!!!
(The 1940 one)
-
Oh yeah it would be nice to get Crawford sets from both WHV and Columbia!

Meh. For a studio founded by Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks Sr. and D. W. Griffith, this really doesn't quite feel right.
Now let's see what kind of movies the new UA will make...

Ever get to watch the semi-sequel to The Bad and the Beautiful?
-
Well it's only about midnite for me

-
How did you arrive at those percentages?
X From Outer Space ranks #301 on the list
Goke, Bodysnatcher from Hell ranks #303, as of right now.
-
Oh it would indeed but I would hope she wasn't going thru what her character went thru, hoping she'd get the nomination!

-
Martin Balsam winning and Oscar for playing Bela Lugosi is the cherry on top!
That was Martin Landau

-
Let's hope he hears us!

Oh it's so hard to choose just one... Katherine Hepburn, Irene Dunne, Jean Arthur, Myrna Loy, Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman... they were all great!
