feaito I must say It's surprising that you never seen "A Place in the Sun" until last night. It's one of my favorite movies and the three essential stars were bravo.
Unfortunately many of the scenes with Anne Revere (Clift's mother) were cut out due to her involvement in the witchhunt of the 1950s and then she was banished.
She herself said that she did some of her best work in that film.
I guess I shouldn't be that surprised at you since I never did see "Wuthering Heights", only bits and pieces.

"A PLACE IN THE SUN"?

Dear God tell me it ain't true!
Most of the deceased characters from GWTW must be turning in their graves at the thought.
If the project ever gets off the ground perhaps Streisand may make a plea to play Mother O'Hara or Belle Watling.
It anin't fittin', it just ain't fittin. It ain't fittin!

TONIGHT ON LARRY KING LIVE THE ELUSIVE KIM NOVAK WILL APPEAR AND DISCUSS HER LIFE AND CAREER, WARTS AND ALL.
It should be an interesting treat. Although she is not mentioned on the boards that much I'm sure we all have a favorite Kim Novak movie. I know I do (a few of them in fact).

It's funny since a similar question was asked on this Forum under the title of "Doris Day Movie" and the answer given was "My Six Loves" with Debbie Reynolds.
