  1. 1932's "So Big". An excellent Bette Davis movie with great cast of Barbara Stanwyck, George Brent ( Of Course) and "Dickie" Moore". It seems this gem is always overlooked but one of the best and my personal favorite Bette Davis film.

Yes but I saw them swish while they were dancing around the fountain at Chase Manhattan Plaza and they all talked with a lisp. I like their songs also, "Cherish" is one of my all time favorites! It's just that day that reminds me of who they are, worse than "The Buckinghams"!

Did you ever hear of Elvis Presley? You should have heard what they called him in 1956! Were you there in 1967 ? I was ...you have no idea! ;) Wink right back at ya! I put those things aside and became a responsible father and huband but had my share of fun at the time!

  6. > You SAW Jim Morrison in person?

I saw him at the Fillmore East, the Singer Bowl in Flushing Meadows ( Now Louis Armstrong Tennis Court ) Forest Hills tennis court with Simon & Garfunkle ( The Doors fans Booed Them) And I met him in person in Battery Park when I worked on Wall Street one Saturday while "The Doors" were taping a Murray The "K" Special. Robbie Krieger was a Juice Head and didn't touch drugs and was drinking a botlle of wine and John Densmore was a wimp and kept to himself. Ray the organ player was with his wife sitting on a park bench looking out on New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty. Aretha Franklin was there and sang "Respect" in front of the Broad Street Station on Wall Street and Broad. "The Association" (Wimps) sang "Windy' behind the building I worked at in 1967 (40 Wall Street) in Chase Manhattan Plaza. Needless to say little work was done that Saturday, a day I still remember in awe! It was televised on Channel 9 in New York in the Fall of 1967.

  7. I liked 1973's - "The Last of Sheila" with Richard Benjamin....James Mason.....Dyan Cannon.....James Coburn...& Raquel Welch. The plot was about a group of people invited on James Coburn's yacht to play a game like "Clue' where each member gets a card and each card said things like.."Your a shoplifter"..."Your A Homosexual"...."Your an Embezzler"..."Your a Adulterer"...."Your a Murder" etc.. The object of the game was for the group to solve who represented each one reflected on the card with murder and mayhem resulting. There were some real funny scenes in the movie and I highly recommend it for those who never saw it!

  8. Another good low-budget movie was 1956's "The Werewolf". He gets killed in the wilderness in the snow in a small town who's only recreation is to "BS' in the local Bar. I give it two and 1/2 stars out of a possible four star rating. I believe it was made in 1956. I wonder if they will show Victor Jory in "The Man Who turned into Stone" made in 1957. Outstanding Campy performance by Jory. If they show that and "Zombies of Mora - Tua" also made in 1957, I will promise to stop dissing Mr. Zombie. :) After all I was a big Jim Morrison Fan in the 60's and was at one time a "Door" Buster. Mr. Mojo-rrison!! See, I once was a rebel who stupidly didn't give a sh*t either. I just grew up because "There is a time when children must put aside their toys and become Mature Adults".
