I didn't mean the movie was fluff I meant the snow was "Fluffy"

I'm thinking either Tony Curtis or Frank Sinatra. Can I split my vote or am I off base?

Never knew Gale Storm made movies. I also remember "My Little Margie" with Charley Farrell I believe playing her father. I remember her big hit in the 50's "Come down From your Ivory Tower." What we need more is a series of this type on television today instead of the graphic "CSI" series. We need to laugh more not see violent crimes and graphic autopsy's it's better to leave that to Rob Zombie instead!

I watch Cavett's show strictly for his guests. Cavett is one of the biggest pompous **** who thinks he's hip but is really a ****-poor interviewer. He has nothing over Robert Osborne who know his facts without referring to his cards prepared by his staff like Cavett does. The only thing that Cavett was consistent about in all his years on television was his ability to fail in several shows. I met him in person once and he stuck his nose up in the air when I greeted him and kept walking. In other words he is a no-talent pompous jerk who's best performance was in the film "BeetleJuice" when he swayed back and forth at the dinner table to the song Day-O. He should taken a crash course in the Robert Osborne school of how to properly interview a star. In other words Dick Cavett sucks big time and is a notch above the other ****-kisser who never asked difficult questions to his guests Larry King. The opinion I express is mine and it's from many years of observation of Mister I'm better than you Dick Cavett the friggin creep. Aftermath

I like his money and his family connection. God smiled on him and he is one of His favorites. I always like people who were born with a gold spoon in their mouth and have connections to get great jobs because of their family name. Ben is the boy next store if you happen to live in Beverly Hills. God Bless Him he deserves everything that has come to him after all he probably had to show up once so they would make sure he didn't look like a bumbling idiot with Frankenstein Features! He really applied himself with his Uncle's help to get the host job. More power to him it takes a lot of effort to be a name-dropper!

Terrible picture "Man Of La Mancha" with Peter O'Toole & Sophia Loren it was garbage personified and I'd Rather have toothpicks jabbed into my eyes than to see this atrocious movie again. A real Stink Bomb that smelled up the movie like Horse dung. The play with Richard Kiley and Marion Marlowe was spectacular. The movie you need a barf bag attached to the seat in front of you because it made me sick to watch it.

The Spy Who Came In From The Cold aftermath

I don't consider "White Christmas" a snow movie. The only time you see snow is the last 30 seconds of the movies when Bing and Danny etc. are singing "White Christmas" and they open up the sliding doors to show it just started snowing. The four movies I mentioned before "The Thing From Outer Space" - "Island In the Sky" - "The Red Tent" and Ice Station Zebra are about survival in the elements. The movie "White Christmas is "Fluff". Even Sylvester Stallone's movie "Cliffhanger" had more snow! aftermath

Two other "Snow" movies that were pretty frigid were - 1971- "The Red Tent" with Sean Connery and - 1968 - "Ice Station Zebra with Rock Hudson. Pretty "Snowy" movies and too cold to suit my taste!
-
"Island in The Sky" with John Wayne. When a guy walks around and around in a circle and dies twenty feet from where the shelter is because of a blinding snow storm and he can't see one foot in front of himself . Also "The Thing From Outer Space" when Jim Arness escapes and kills the huskies in the snowstorm at night. Pretty cold facts from both movies. aftermath

I saw the new promo for "One Reel Wonders" yesterday and I must say it SUCKS! Bring back the Rudy Vallee style of singing. It was popular with everyone I ever talked to. It was a natural with the singing through the megaphone and scratchy record sound effect. They can change alot of things but please don't change my favorite intro of "One Reel Wonders". aftermath
