Jack, I have the original "Wuthering Heights" on DVD that was released a few years ago. It is a beautiful print. I think they must have pulled it. However, if you go to Amazon.com, some people are selling copies of the original. You might want to take a look.

Mark, I have a list of films I keep on the lookout for. Every day I log into dvdempire.com and they list their daily new additions. It's amazing how much trash is released and how many great films are still being held back. In fact I've ever heard of so many of the new DVD releases. I have a collection of over 3,000 DVDs - all of the available classics. The list I mentioned earlier is just some of the films I would like to have. I mean, what about "Viva Zapata", "Lili", "Sitting Pretty", the Esther Williams movies, "With a Song in My Heart", "I'll Cry Tomorrow", "The Sundowners", "Fanny", "Bitter Rice", "Gate of Hell", etc, etc, etc.

Frankly, I find horror/slasher movies, excessive gore and blood, killing 45 people in one movie, blowing up buildings and cars extremely offensive, much more than some cartoon characters singing "Dip a Dee Doo Dah".

I have been waiting for "The Heiress", "Borsalino", "A Taste of Honey", "Quo Vadis", "The Gold of Naples", "Madame Rosa", "A Special Day", "El Cid", "The Ritz", "Fanny", "Miss Sadie Thompson" with Hayworth, "Sons and Lovers", "Interrupted Melody", "Jamon Jamon", "Becket", "In Which We Serve" and a perfect subtitled print of "Two Women"

I typed in on Google "Song of the South" and found a company that has newly remastered prints on DVD. I ordered several copies and they are perfect. They sell for $18.95. It is a classic Disney film of the 1940's
