[Laurel & Hardy Short Films]

Thanks for the reply. I went to the Hal Roach Studios web site and they have some DVD sets on sale, however they don't cover the really good ones that I want such as Berth Marks, Twice Two, County Hospital, Our First Mistake, etc. Any idea on whether those will ever be released?

[Laurel & Hardy Short Films]

I am wondering why I cannot purchase the Laurel & Hardy short (2 reeler) films from the late 1920's and 1930's. In an age where you can purchase even the worst television shows on DVD, why can't I do the same with the L&H shorts?

 

Someone indicated to me that the Hallmark Corporation holds the rights to them but I have not been able to confirm this. I'd buy them in a heartbeat if they were available.

 

If any body has any information on this, I'd sure appreciate it.
