Your experience was similar to mine.
TCM went off-the-air at 7:59PM EDT, it returned a few minutes after 8:00, but instead of the Hepburn interview, it was Mr. Osborne introducing 'Adam's Rib', the movie never actually started, instead a TCM identification card was displayed for the next 7 or 8 minutes. At 8:14PM the The Dick Cavett interview of Hepburn starts playing in the middle of a sentence, as if it had been running all along since 8:00PM.
I hope the replay at 11PM is not as screwed-up.

I was looking forward to the second part of Katherine Hepburn's interview also, but TCM really fouled things up.
