Mankiewicz is on the money. I can't believe TCM took such a chance on this kid, but he's fantastic. Didn't think he'd make it through the month, but he's got his TV legs under him now. TCM needed to put a little hipness into the mix. Now TCM has a broadened approach to the medium. A little irreverent, a little cranky. Hip. Don't think for a minute that I'm not all for Osborne. He's a god in my house. He knows everything! And brings knowledge, curiosity, and pride to his work. I love him! He is so nice. About the Promo. As the narrator says something about, "From the beginning..." while Bob O drinks a toast. Who is the other fellow. Looks like a bit like John Considine. If it's him, what's with the toast? Was it on the first day? Any story there at all?
