Need help with name of old movie

MaryS--Thank you very much for the reply... I hadn't considered the possibility that it could be an episode of a TV show. After googling some info on that Outer Limits episode, I'm pretty sure that it's not the one I had in mind though. I remember some of the characters arriving to the house at the same time (and I remember them being able to go outside the house without harm)... sounds like this would conflict with the Outer Limits episode plot, as I understand it. Did the Outer Limits episode have a love triangle thing going on between the man/wife and mistress? I remember that from the movie. Message was edited by: MrWinterville -
Hello, all. I'm posting because I'm looking for the name of an old mystery/sci fi/B movie. The problem is that I don't know the title or the names of the actors. I would guess that it was made in the 50's or 60's. The basic summary of the movie is that a group of people are apparently stuck at a house/hotel and they begin hearing high-pitched noises (UFO noises?) outside the place at night. I remember there being a sketchy scientist guy with some tech equipment in his room. I also remember there being a man there with his wife, but apparently the man's former mistress somehow ends up at that same house/hotel also. Anyway, that's probably not a great description but it's about all I've got. Does anyone have any idea of the name of the movie? Any help is appreciated!
