  1. What year did they first produce the TV series with George Reeves in Color? I know that they began making the series in the late 1940's but am not sure that was the same as the George Reeves TV show. So, if George was the first TV Superman, if not the first on film, when did they start the TV series? I know that the color ones are few because like I said I know that at the beginning they were B/W. I know that the Reeves series years and/or seasons were limited by his untimely death, but was wondering about the color thing and how many were actually shot in color and NOT processed after the fact for TV viewing; if in fact they ever did that. I do know that when TBS got a hold of the old stuff back in the 1980's they used a computer to colorize a few things. But the public uproar put a quick end to it for the most part altogether. So, any Old Timer Superman buffs out there that can fill in the blanks?
