I saw a black and white movie on tv once. I think it was from the 30's. I seem to remember that Bob Cummings and Joan Bennett played stage actors who were so engrossed in their careers that they had no home life. Their children, a boy and a girl, were waiting to be born. The couple had been married for a while so the girl was about 8 and the boy about 6 years old. The marriage was on the rocks.
I have searched both Bob Cummings and Joan Bennett's filmographies and don't see anything like this.
