Over 10 years ago TCM every summer would have a weekend or just a saturday night where all they showed was classic musicals. And whenever a song started, the movie went into "wide-screen" mode and the words to the songs appeared. I really miss that. If anyone who actually works at TCM reads this, please consider doing it again. You guys don't play enough musicals anymore.
