  1. What does my age have to do with my question? I'm 30 if you must know. I watch a lot of classics, and know everything you mentioned. I am even sure I know some things you don't. Especially since we have several family members in the movie/TV business (one director another an editor). Although I dont talk to them often since they live out of the country. I seriously doubt you knew what "Pre-Code" meant before you looked it up or asked someone. You did manage to leave out the answer to my questsion in your long and uhelpful post, but you did get to toss out your arrogance a bit, so nice job
  2. I allmost hesitate to ask this....but whats "Pre-Code"? For a internett nerd like me it sounds like movies made before Divx/Xvid...haha! Or is it just a term for the "squeaky clean" movies back in the day? Were actors said "Oh golly!" and have white picket fences kind of thing?
  3. You are aware that "Casino Royal" is originally a 007 spoof comedy film? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061452/ Its a remake. I was a bit disappointed when I first heard about the movie being "redone". Remakes are getting spit out like no tomorrow. Its a sad fase for movie production in my opinion. I like fresh stories. But then I heard that its just inspired by it and changes has been done to make it more serious action in true 007 nature... Message was edited by: filthgrinder
  4. GASP! Opera: http://www.opera.com/ Its a browser. The best out there! =) I'm surprised you have never heard of it! Nintendos "Wii" is using it, not to mention alot of mobile phones as well. Sadly in America most people think Firefox is the best, but Opera is better. Oh no...i feel a heated discussion coming on...ah well. But never mind. I found out the problem. Works fine now, I just updated to the latest version. Works like a charm now. Message was edited by: filthgrinder
  5. DOH! I just answered you in the "Trivia" section. Thank god for "Copy & Paste". hehe. Well It sounds like Where Have All the People Gone?, but I cant recall them being in an underwater cave. But a father and his 2 kids are fossil-hunting in a cave. There is an earthquake and dramatic stuff, when they head home they discover that everyone is gone. And its a sort of solar flares that proves fatal for inhabitants of the Earth Thats the closest I can think of with a cave thing and sun involved... Hope thats it. 6. I use Opera as my Browser, but sadly I had to install Firefox just to be able to use the message boards. Is there any chance some update will be done to make Opera compatible? I can browse and all that, but posting does not work.
  7. Wow, that sounds interesting. I gotta have a look at that episode! Luckily a friend of mine has The Twilight Zone full collection on DVD! Just have to remember to borrow it next time I see him.

  10. I found Requiem for a Dream to be mighty depressing and powerful. I know its a "new" movie hardly a "classic", but it does need mentioning. As for classics I find that hard to answer. But I remember as a kid I cried my heart out watching Old Yeller... null
  11. Anyone remember this mini series? It seems to have become forgotten. Sadly its no longer in print even though its from 1981. I have seen it go for 130$ (US) on auctions for a used VHS! And this is for the movie version that is cut down!!!Its mad! Amazon sells it cheaper, but after 3 attempts to buy it from the used section I only got screwed and never got the movie. Its stars Christopher Lee, Mark Harmon and Robert Forster just to name a few. Goliath Awaits (1981) (TV) During World War II, the passenger liner "Goliath" is sunk by a German attack (This should say "attack su
  12. > The opening foot-chase is amazing, and I > wanted to see a movie about that villain. Does > anyone know who this actor was? His stunts were > amazing. That villains name is Sebastian Foucan. He is the founder of the sport called "Free running" were people just run and jump and twist over obsticals, its pretty popular. You can see alot of video clips on it all over the internett. His movie (were they "discovered" him) is called "Jump London".
