WOAH!
I must have felt faintish at LEAST 100 times in that little 1:30 clip.
I can't believe someone found that to upload!!
The film looks good enough, it isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
This movie HAS to be available, Angie, it just has to be!!!!

*Hey...a girl can dream, right?*
Some girls take more liberties than others.
-
I know that I see several of his films on Fox Movie Channel....
I wasn''t aware of that. I'll have to keep an eye on that channel, then! Thanks pally!

-
They're stinkers! That's what they are.
You do amazing work, PK; I'd be absolutely furious if I put as much work as you do into your wallpapers and avatars then get them swiped from a bunch of no-good hooligans!
-
Holy smokes! Now I want to see this film more than ever!
Thank you so much for posting these screen caps, Angie. Gosh, and that's just the preview -- can you girls imagine a whole hour and a half of that kind of rugged beauty?!
-
Angie, be aware that there's a prankster lurking around on YouTube, stealing our videos and posting them as their own...
-
We'll have to request it.
I can't believe they wouldn't have conisidered it in the first place; how could they overlook such an actor?

*The Lost Horizon, thats a Gary Cooper movie too ? Any good ?*
*Lost Horizon* is a Ronald Colman film. It's great nonetheless

I couldn't help but reply to this thread when the name "Rebecca" caught my eye. I had just seen this film a couple days ago, and wow. I love Joan Fontaine and I came across this little behind-the-scenes fact and thought I'd share:
"The first film Alfred Hitchcock made in Hollywood and the only one that won a Best Picture Oscar.
Because star Laurence Olivier wanted his then-girlfriend Vivien Leigh to play the lead role, he treated Joan Fontaine horribly. This shook Joan Fontaine up quite a bit, so Alfred Hitchcock decided to capitalize on this by telling her EVERYONE on the set hated her, thus making her shy and uneasy on the set - just what Alfred Hitchcock wanted from her performance"

*At least you're not the one who fast-forwards past all the violence when watching films. You do have some class.*
But I lack the common sense to keep my mind pure and innocent from all that violence.
-
*It would be nice to know someone in your family has some kind of classic film taste.*
I see your desperate attempt at a comeback, and I'll raise you a sock in the kisser.
-
*Alot of new faces around this board since I posted here often. But it's good to see some familiar faces!*
The Coop fever is spreading like wildfire; but we're hardly worried about a cure

In fact, we avoid it in panic.

Wow, then I'm sold on it!
I love the layout of Homer Dicken's book; so I'll definitely place a bid on Ronny's book.

-
Sure did; and I'm makin' Mr. CrabbyPants (AKA Little Bro) watch 'em with me. He's relieved it isn't a Cooper film; it's the only way I can persuade him into watching any kind of classic films now.
"Taylor, wanna watch a movie with me?"
"No."
"It's a really good one! It's a thriller/SciFi. With monsters and aliens and...and... terribly sinful things!"
"No."
"...It doesn't have Gary Cooper in it--"
"OKAY!"
-
*By the way, I own a copy of THE FILMS OF RONALD COLMAN. It's a very worthwhile book - highly recommended to anyone who's a Ronald Colman fan. The photos are great and the narrative is quite interesting - even for the films that are in all likelihood lost.*
I have "The Complete Films of Gary Cooper" by Homer Dickens; I adore that book.
Is it quite similiar to that, PK?
-
Ay, ay, Capt'n!

.........

Hehe, yay; I win.

-
*Are you off your meds again?*
Uhhh...yup, yup, shore am; yup.

*Could you perhaps get ahold of larger versions of a couple of the photos you posted on 12/26/07 at 3 pm? You know...the post where you posted a bunch of photos?*
I'm having trouble finding larger images of my previous posts; I'll keep an eye out, though.
Here are just a couple more randomocities:

We're so glad to have you back, PK! We've missed you around here

-
Wowie, April! That's a mighty big milestone here on TCM; congratulations!!
I love that image, by the way -- very classy. Miss Piggy is one of my favorite muppets

*So when will your interesting film journey begin, Kimmy Kurtains? You better start off with Gaslight beforer the Angela freak freaks.*
It started last night but the power in my DVD player ran out and the cord was in the car. I liked the beginning, but I wasn't going to go outside in the freezing cold no matter HOW great the beginning of the film was.
I'd say, Spice Girl. So which one are you, Sheila?
You better not be asking me which Spice Girl I am, mate. I'll knock you all the way into next week!
Eeeeee, it's Gary! Ahhhh, this thread is now complete...
Oooooh, and those hands. Dang it, Frank, now you got me obsessing about those hands again!
