  1. I have a favor to ask ya'll, if you don't mind. I have a friend who's asking if I want anymore Gary GIFs, like the ones I posted a couple months ago. I really don't have any more ideas so I was wondering if you guys could help me out. What are a couple scenes you'd like to see put into a GIF?
  2. Wonderfully said, Angie!! I couldn't agree more. Much as I hate to admit it, I can empathize with Amy for being mad at him. My first reaction is to say ?It?s Gary Cooper, don?t leave him?, but if you look at them as characters and not the real people they are, her reaction is justified. It pained you to say that, I can tell. But it's too true. To see him being abandoned as Will Kane and not Gary Cooper is the only thing that got me through that movie. She was mad at him, but she also felt very deeply for what she believed and needed to stay true to that. I'll never like her...
  3. I love that song, Angie! It's an 80's song, but it'll fit greatly with a Gary slideshow My other favorite song of hers is "Total Eclipse of the Heart" The beginning is like nails on a chalkboard, but it gets good...I promise, lol.
  4. You know, I think that's actually a pic of Frank. He's just proofreading his write up on the High Noon love triangle that he said he would post this past weekend So that's him, eh? I always knew he was secretly envious of Gary's beauty; but plastic surgery? That's a bit steep, don't ya' think? By the way, that lipstick does look quite fetching on you...
  5. Woohooo! Thank you for finding that photo of him in *One Sunday Afternoon*, April; I've tried searching for it without the blasted watermark for quite a while.
  6. Wow, Angie, that magazine is gorgeous!! Yet another beauty to add to your collection. **Sigh** I'm green with envy, sis Let us know if it has images inside, too; those should be really eye-popping
  7. That's great, Senta! I love winning things on ebay; it's so exciting!
  8. The first one is my fave!!!!!! Pervert. Ooooo, look! He's practically half naked; such beauty, such charm, such...half-nakedness! **Squeals**
  9. I came across a website called "Classic Movie Scripts" and just flipped when I saw many of my favorite films were included in this list of 'classic scripts'. So I thought some of you might enjoy it as well: http://www.aellea.com/?page_id=3
  10. I would but I don't know how to do gif's. There's an online GIF maker; I used it the other day and it was incredibly simple and fast. I don't remember the URL but if I find it I'll PM it to you on L&C.
  11. I'm gonna vote after work and I don't mind telling you it won't be for either of these two. I'm with ya' there, sister! That is a pretty funny picture; just too bad it had to have THEIR faces on it, otherwise I'd save it, lol.
  12. You should make that into an animated GIF, Angie!
  13. You seem to want me dead. A lot dead. I like you. Hurts, don't it? Like a dagger to the heart, Frank....like a dagger to the heart. I still don't see why y'all gals like a girl, I mean, guy who wears lipstick and eyeliner so much. Maybe you can relate to him that way. I just don't know. It's a talent we don't support, but a talent nonetheless. You're a hussy! There, I said it. **GASPS** ........Theresa, get my gun.
  14. My mind wasn't even on Gary when I clicked on this thread and there he is! No wonder Frank's afraid of him; he's everywhere!! ...Lucky us
  15. Gable is among one of my favorite actors. Just a real man's man Mmmmhmmm, you said it. A real man's man... And that's all there is to it. Favorite actors: Gary Cooper Mel Gibson I seem to be drawing a blank! **Points the gun directly at Frankie and hears a click** Oh, wait, nevermind, the safety was on; heehee, ...my bad! Hmmm, I have a feeling this list is being recorded; I'll make it short... Ronald Colman Chico Marx Charlie Chaplin George Raft Eddy G. Robinson For the record, only two are obsessions.
  16. I love Ray in "Beau Geste" and "The Major and the Minor". I haven't seen a whole lot of his films; but he's a wonderful actor nonetheless
  17. Even though im not into Westerns , Mr Cooper in a cowboy outfit sure looks like a perfect fit Mr Deeds is still my favorite of the movies I have seen with him. You 'n' me both.
  18. WOAH! Those eyes! I love that picture, Angie! YOWZERS!
  19. Girls---don't let him get away with that! I vote we kill him. All in favor?
  20. I wish this dorky site would let us use Avatars! You said it! I wish they'd update this forum, make it a little more...hip to the jive
  21. Great! I'm so glad you like them! I'm thinkin' of using one as my default for L&C but I can't decide which one...
  22. Delete some old messages, Mr. Grimes, my message won't go through for "some unknown reason." I damand larger inboxes! ...For more reasons than one!
  23. Absolutely, I am a fan of Mr Cooper. We don't have leading men like him anymore...just a bunch of feminized men. Two of my favorites of his-- and these two don't get as much attention as others--are Bright Leaf and the Hanging Tree. The great stoic, a man's, man Cooper. ...You're my new favorite, Jake. I couldn't agree more. By the way, welcome aboard
