  1. I was not offended at all about my thread closing by staff member Renee. My thread was for the

duration of the 24 hour films of Tony Curtis. Renee was right for us all to return to the other thread to continue our posting about Tony Curtis. thanks markuaf & lovefilmnoir for such kind words of

support i was overwhelmed to say the least. About the policy i don't know whose right or wrong

about it but maybe its due for another objective look at it.

love to the tcm family. lolite~ love to the Tony Curtis family & friends as well

  2. I just finished watching The Sweet Smell of Sucess & The defiant ones they get better every time i watch

them. Now the movie Trapeze just started such a wonderful triple feature to enjoy tonite. I have never seen

this movie yet in color just in my childhood in black -n-white. These movies in my opinion are Tony's

finest. Also thanks to Burt Lancaster for tony's parts in these movies. I'm imagining Burt & Tony

are having a goodtime reminiscing right now over a good beer!....

  4. I just finished watching "Kings Go Forth" all i can say is "Wow" This is the first time i've seen this movie.

it had all the elements needed for a good film. Romance, conflict, tension right up to the end of the movie, and if that isn't enough prejudice was included in the mix of this film. Tony played an excellent

playboy soldier in a french foreign town seeking and seducing the very pretty girl Natalie Wood.

Tony played a mean trumpet in this film. a must see film if you miss itm today.

  5. I just finished watching the first movie of Tony Curtis's tribute today "BeachHead" it was a good war

film i felt on the edge of my seat a few times. Throughout the film you couldn't miss a young handsome

Tony Curtis. Frank Lovejoy was good along side tony through the film. What are your thoughts on

the film :Beachhead?... Will now watch "Kings Go Forth" will blog right after. Hope everyone will too.

I think Tony would just love today. Everyone enjoy with favorite drink toast to tony! and don't forget

the buttered popcorn yummy!... He would want us to do just that...thanks Tony for the many years of

cinema entertainment. BTW i never saw the film "BeachHead" before until today.
