Hi, does anyone have vhs copies of the movies: Four wives 1939 & Four Mothers 1941. I bought Four Daughters at amazon.com but it seems the sequels were never put out on vhs. I would gladly pay shippin & handling and the price of the two video tapes.... love these movies dearly people and would love all three in my collection! any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks for the effort & time you would be putting in on my behalf! lolite blue.

thought i would help mongo out on this one Question: The movie is "The Sins Of Rachel Cade 1961.starring Angie Dickinson she goes to the congo to nurse sick people has an affair with a patient or doctor on staff i don't remember for sure ! She has her son stay in africa to help the people with her baby son in toe the man leaves africa, & never sees her or knows about the baby at all... a real tear jerker for me at least! hope this is the movie and solves the mystery for you.... lolite.

Hi Deborah, My guess is and its only a guess that the family didn't want his death announced because it was his wedding day. It may have been what peter, & Jodi wanted for their mother's sake, on a day when she would have such cherrished memories of her life with her husband Joel....and the press honored that and didn't post media or anything until tahat monday Oct 20, 90 what a thoughtful gesture for the Hollywood press to make for such a wonderful & deserving couple like Frances & Joel Mr. & Mrs. MCCrea. Yes, i too saw it many years ago wasn't until you said lark was the girl's name then i knew what movie. David Niven i thought was tremendous in this! It's a real tissue box movie i cried throught out the film wanted to ring that stepsister's neck!..Teresa was the right actress for this part, I agree its along the lines of Random Harvest! Going back in the past at first confused me a bit but then i caught on to the movie now iwant a copy of it. I wish TCM would show this film i know everyone would like it as much as Random Harvest is so popular amongst us lolite.

Deborah: I quite agree that France's good taste in not being in the sort of movies that older actors tend to do after a certain age, (i'm trying to be polite)was a wise decision on her part. I love her for it! Yes also the little girl did look alot like Frances as a child it was awesome to me the resemblance between them!...Loved when she showed her wedding ring in the scene with walter Huston too! But i fell in love with the horse named Rodney and i was rooting for him all the way through the movie...I hope you don't mind if i correct you on my name its lolite blue or you can call me Joann.....
