Here is another case where I can see little fun in a dribble of clues and guesses, etc. Let's see if one big wadded-up description can get the answer: 80s movie with a 60s setting, and Civil Rights emphasis; elivator surfing is demonstrated; a penguin is killed but another penquin is spared;
an ex-con has unfinished business with the girl he tried to rape and the man who stopped him; the baddest drug fiends around are a couple of glue sniffers; a Saint Bernard is named Buddha; a dead man is found with an arrow in his back, and Homicide cops point out that there used to be Indians in the Bronx, but "the neighborhood changed." Also, some early work from some people whos careers have gotten much bigger since this film.
