Released early 1970s. Early performances by an actor who later had a long run as a TV series star, and by another player who later became very, very successful on the big screen.

The main character hits bottom and goes into Rehab. He has to do that alone; his wife is not interested in changing anything. (over 600 Views)

*Never Never Land*

*Kim* -- 1950 title role for Dean Stockwell

A clergyman, real stone junkie, is incountered during a stay in Rehab. Rumer is, he's put a million dollars through his arm.

Not *Tampopo* . USA film, no subtitles. There are other cultures where one can find noodles.
-
Great misdirection, Sixes. I spent a lot of time researching *Hurt Locker* , and all the time it was right under my nose in *Fight Club* in a conversation with an Airport Security guy. (??)

Buckley, D.A. Rufus -- Kevin Spacey in *A Time To Kill* (1996)

Thanks, Eve.
I had nothing planned, but I'll try this from a standing start:
Inter-Family warfare in the Mob. A hit is set up in a restaurant. The hit man has loaded the wrong ammo in the pistol. It blows up, injuring his hand, and leaves the target unhurt, noodles still dangling
from his mouth.

*King Kong Vs Godzilla*
-
Zirchon, Professor Nigel -- John Standing in *Eerie, Indiana* (TV series)
-
A realistic, unsentimental look at a part of the drug subculture. Among the users, not dealers or "kingpins."

Wuronos, Aileen -- Charlize Theron in *Monster*
-
*None But The Lonely Heart*

Underall, Lacey -- Cindy Morgan in *Caddyshack*

"Check this guy for priors. Look for an alias or whatever. That 'had to take a ****' story is the excuse of first resort for flashers and child molesters."

A problem for the dope fiends: one of their number ODs and dies. As it happens, the motel they are using at the moment is also occupied by the attendees of a Deputy Sheriffs' convention.

Noted, Eve. I'm just glad to have found this new avenur of research. Sixes' thread.

Rupert, Prince -- Timothy Dalton in *Cromwell* (1970)

Well I'llbedurned.
Eve, I've never seen it but this setup has tought me something about researching, and about the resources available on the Net. Myrna Loy and William Powell, together again, in 1940s I Love You Again. I will watch for an opportunity to see it now. The detour through radio listings churned up some memories: My family acquired TV when I was 16. I first got acquainted with Edgar & Charlie Jack Benny, George & Gracie, etc, on Sunday Night radio programs. I first got acquainted with Lionel Barrymore as host and storyteller on one of the drama programs. And I now have a collection of tapes, from some favor-swap with a friend, of old Fibber Magee and Molly shows, mixed with a few Burns And Allen . About time to take them out and listen to them again.
