In *LA Confidential*, I think that was James Cromwell as the crooked Captain Dudley Smith. I believe he was addressing Guy Pierce in the role of Ed Exley, but he may have been talking to Rollo Tomasi.

Bingo re *Staying Alive* .Night-spot waiter John Travolta (considering himself a dancer) got propositioned by a woman customer who wanted some action. His response was somewhat prusumptuous, and she found it necessary to put him in his place. I think she was just in a one-scene walk-on, but I wish I knew the actress' name. CharlieT's thread.
