In *LA Confidential*, I think that was James Cromwell as the crooked Captain Dudley Smith.
I believe he was addressing Guy Pierce in the role of Ed Exley, but he may have been talking to Rollo Tomasi.

Bingo re *Staying Alive* .Night-spot waiter John Travolta (considering himself a dancer) got propositioned by a woman customer who wanted some action. His response was somewhat prusumptuous, and she found it necessary to put him in his place. I think she was just in a one-scene walk-on, but I wish I knew the actress' name.

Whew! Actually, that's the plot I had in mind when I named *Quick Change*. Now another quote, and this one irks me. I can name the film, and the person addressed (actor and character). so that's all I'll ask from anyone else. If someone can name the actress who speaks the line, that's extra.
