In the state-of-the-art for 1060s forensics, the Mob figures that a corpse with feet of two different sizes _can_ be made to be identified as another person, if you do it right. What's more, the businessman has mistakenly made a decision that advanced credit to the mobster. He is under pressuere from his employers to cancel this mistake.

Grady, Dilbert* -- Philip Stone in *The Shining* (1980) ...*The former caretaker who had killed his family.

Correct. That film is just loaded with great H'wood bitchy dialogue. Eve's thread.
-
Not *Rock Hunter*. The hero has a physical feature that figures into the plot. His feet are two different sizes, and it forces him to buy shoes in two different sizes. It happens that a boss mobster has the same condition, and a plot is born.

Thanks, Sixes. If memory serves, with the single exception of The Third Man I went through all the Graham Greene novels I could find before being able to view the movies based on his work. Another poser, on a lighter note: A mid-Twentieth Century film. The central character is a businress executive, getting in on the ground floor of an industry that will grow very, very big. Comic problems develop involving his girlfriend, a temptress and some mobsters.

Thanks, Sixes. New effort: A. "____, dear, you know, there's only two things I dislike about you." B. "Really? What are they?" A. "Your face." This exchange involved two heavyweight talents who were also great beauties. Who?

Thanks, Eve. A new one, from a final narration: "...I remember one Election Day, when M____ and me had the first shift. Bloom was really on the peach as far as she was concerned. We were there for one hour kissin' by ourselves when G___ come and talked her into stayin' after I had to leave. He thought that he would have M____ to himself for two hours or so... Nobody gets enough chances at the wild and sweet... Just two things I regret: One, that I didn't get to see G___'s face when he heard that cripple mule of I___'s comin' up after only fifteen minutes. The other is, forgettin' to bring my Kodak that mornin' so I coulda got a picture of M____ in that blue-and-white dress, sittin on the schoolhouse steps." Source?
