  1. You got it...this is an underrated film...an accurate portrait of a psychologically and spiritually bankrupt class. Now it's your turn...

  4. for subserviant...THE SERVANT New Word.........Tomfoolery
  5. I would remake THE SHINING. Gone would be the wild over-acting of Jack Nicholson, gone would be the cartoonish acting and face of Shelly Duvall...a different director would take care of that. Nicholson .would have a minor role, the role of the wife/mother would go to someone who would make the part somewhat beleivable... I think this film was a disaster because of a director and star who didn't really get the story. Portraying the father in a more sinister, slowly going mad guy, rather than a whirling dervish , quite nutty to begin with, would succeed where the first one didn't. New Cast: Father...Matt Dillon Mother..Virginia Madsen Scatman...Samuel T. Jackson Little Boy...search for an unknown...unfortunately, today the only child stars are obnoxious forty-year old little girls.
  6. For Grand Guignol...WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? New Word...............Existensialism
  7. Queeg, Captain...played by Humphrey Bogart in THE CAINE MUTINY
  8. No to BEST... 2. The film had wonderful graphic promotion by Saul Bass, a great musical score and took place primarily in two different regions of the same country.
  9. Montgomery Clift was in THE SEARCH with Alline MacMahon. Anyone able to watch the last ten minutes of this film without a teardrop is dead.
  10. My film is from the same period, and strangely enough, it features a sack dress, worn by one of the three key players. It was a big literary hit, less so as a movie; but it did give the career of the ingenue a big boost.
