CINDERELLA LIBERTY?

Betty Garrett might have been a better substitute for Sarah Churchill, or possibly Angela Lansbury, who actually could sing and dance (and was a Brit). A worse partner for Astaire was Joan Fontaine, who could neither sing nor dance...wonder what that was all about.

Thanks for the great poster of a great undervalued film...watch it if you can. -
clue to Julie and William...their name suggests a high position in the religious heirarchy.

a new one... 1. A Brit is looking for a pet. Instead of a dog or cat, he decides on something more unusual.

I would remove Deborah Kerr from FROM HERE TO ETERNITY, and in her place use Rita Hayworth. I'm sure the beach scene with Burt Lancaster would have scortched the sceen. I would retain the original ending to SUSPICION, and not cop out with the "happy" ending that was released. I would have NEVER cut the scenes from A STAR IS BORN, as was done, and I would give the Academy Award to Judy Garland, who actually deserved it. These are only three of the many gross mistakes that have been made in filmology.
