Tim Robbins' Cradle Will Rock is one of my all-time favorite films. With all of the interest in WPA-related projects, I was wondering if there is any plan to show WPA documentary films as well as stories that related to any of the federal projects of the time. I think such a series would provoke a lot of conversation as to the many good things government can do in a crisis.

Searching for great scenes about radio in film

My son is the head of a great non-profit organization that promotes low-power and community radio all over the world. Whenever TCM has a great film that has radio as part of its story, we save it to watch together when he visits. We recently saw UNDERGROUND together and nothing brought home the importance of his work more than two critical scenes in that great film. I had an idea to search for such films and try to have a screening that would be a fundraiser for low-power radio in the U.S. Does anyone have ideas? It would help to not have major legal issues as to fair use, but it's such a worthy cause that I would hope the details could be worked out. Thanks so much for any suggestions.
