  1. SueSue, wow, you've brilliantly encapsulated Bewitched and its comfort-level appeal for us millions of Baby Boomers who grew up with this great show! Every guy I ever knew was totally in love/lust with Elizabeth Montgomery, and that Xmas photo shows why. I must have seen every episode a million times, lol, and I just can't name a favorite. What fascinated me was how the scripts always took pains to make it clear that Tabitha had a babysitter if Sam, Endora, Serena, or even Uncle Arthur had to leave the house in order to take care of witchy business and Darrin was out of town. Then they called aunts Hagatha or Enchantra. There were always the delivery guys/cops who reacted the same way whenever they saw something magical: "Did you see that? -- "See what?" I loved the rotating familiarity of their "stock company" with the McMann & Tate clients-and-wives. I always thought Bob wasn't bad looking, and was very sorry he never got the girl in the road movies. (although in ROAD TO UTOPIA I'm not sure, lol) Edited by: Bronxgirl48 on Dec 15, 2012 10:42 PM
  2. Would you care to guess the weight of the cake I'm sending to celebrate your 12,000 posts, Frank?
  3. It's been especially grueling viewing the 24/7 news cycle recently, so I've been regressing during this unspeakably distressing period by watching endless old Bewitched episodes.
  4. Oh my goodness, SueSue, lol! Rod also looks a bit Rathbone-y there as well, ha!!
  5. Enjoy, Jackie! (I know I did!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpVVDH0R8a8&feature=fvwp&NR=1

  7. An excellent assessment of George's true emotional depths as an actor: http://brightlightsfilm.com/61/61georgesanders.php
  8. Is Crimes of the Heart the Beth Henley play about sisters, one who is married to an abusive man? Remember DOLORES CLAIBORNE? Some nasty family dynamics going on there. (Kathy Bates and David Straitharn are unnervingly good)
  9. Spasiba for those Christmas videos, Sans! Poor Santa and Bear -- that little girl is a holy terror, LOL.
  10. Thank you so much, Lynn! And a wonderful holiday season to you and yours! Oooh, I LOVE Darlene Love! "He's a Rebel" is one of my all-time favorites. (come to think of it, that song would definitely fit the personalities of Rudy, Rod, and Yul) And who can sing better than Mimi? Grazie, merci! Edited by: Bronxgirl48 on Dec 8, 2012 6:38 PM
