  1. Fred that was fantastic - the colors were amazing. Would you believe I've never seen a Mighty Mouse cartoon (at least, not that I can remember) Wow, LOL, Krakatoa Katie is sure hot stuff, and, I hope this won't sound weird or anything, but that last bit with him ogling her and all....well....how can I say this, but....I found him very attractive.

    For a rodent you understand.

But then I always had feelings for Mickey as well..

  2. At least he was a good sport about it.

What is the silent where there's a funny looking carriage that's also like a sled, that's going through the snow with Barrymore in it, and a woman is sitting opposite him wearing a mask?

I'd love to see this one.

  3. LOL that was great! Gee, Christopher George WAS handsome, wasn't he??

But he can never replace my sweetpea Stuart Whitman (see his incomparable performance on my birthday thread to him, and enjoy the fake teeth on the two cops in the finale that REALLY scares Whitman. If the Duke was with him as he was in THE COMANCHEROS, of course, those villagers would be TOAST!!)

  4. OMG. I wonder if Kate just said that to get him out of there. I would have thought she took precautions in those matters, as I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) her mother was an advocate for women's rights, planned parenthood?

  5. While I balk at some of his truly atrocious movie choices, (although who can argue with him; he's a multi-millionaire today) he seems to give 100 per cent to each and every part, no matter how silly.

You stated his appeal for me just right: "handsome, rugged, a great voice, and believable". Yes!

  6. I think they would have made a neat reteaming in something along the lines of THE EGG AND I, where Cagney is a farmer and Davis his reluctant down-home wife. And yet it's not as weird as it might sound; after all, Jimmy really did own his own ranch, and Bette was in her soul a down-to-earth Yankee with a love of nature, the land and the sea.

I don't hold much with ratings.
