Thank you, thank you very much.

And I guess "Oh, nuts!" was the typical clean alternative for the stars who didn't go potty mouth!

Yes! That sheepish, naughty look from Jimmy was just so unexpected. Was this from the one about the rubber plantation (the title escapes me; too much eggnog last night) with Ann Sheridan, that had a lot of zippy and risque lines, a la THEY DRIVE BY NIGHT?
I just remembered (from seeing Sheridan in THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER): it was TORRID ZONE. Thanks, BG; you're welcome!

Lon Chaney, Jr. and Lou Costello, too?
Get it? Get it?

LOL

I also love Santa's hand motions -- he looks so blase, and possibly as though he's had one too many eggnogs, LOL.

Yeah, and Ron didn't miss a beat back.
Barton MacClane always LOOKED like he swore, and now we know!

LOL, oh, yes. "When my Angelina goes like THIS......"

It's a toss-up. I'm partial to Lassie, however.
Okay now we can all go back to the humans!

YouTube only had this one clip from that episode. You're right about the ending (and Norton decorating the tree)

Check them out! I hesitate to post the links for obvious reasons (some actors say "Nuts!" but the majority don't, including Jimmy Stewart!)
Watch for the HILARIOUS door slamming with James Cagney. The look on his face when he realizes what he's done is priceless.
Please if you would get back to me on these -- I'd love to know your reactions.

We won't give it away, but the plot goes off without a "hitch", doesn't it?
Don't know what's up with Venetia, but producing was no doubt a smart move in that dog-eat-dog world of physical appearances.

It's worth seeing for Sullavan, not really for the film itself.

Very, very cool!

And the same to you, Rich.
There's nothing quite like a Dickens Christmas, eh?

SMILES I think was as light-hearted as any film by Bergman could be!
It was very good, by the way.

A great clip from a great show; I remember it well as I know many others do.
Thanks for the memories and Merry Christmas.
