  1. Well actually, I already own a copy of that movie so I don't need to look for that but I am looking for a copy of Paths of Glory.
  2. Yeah, I think I was bein a bit harsh and maybe to you too but we all have our bad days and I was having a hard time yesterday and I should not have taken it out on everyone. Sorry if I insulted you too, I was not trying to be mean, I was just being an idiot, if you still want to hate me than that's fine, I guss I deserve it.
  3. Oh well, I hope he gets a chance to see it sometime in the near future, he could try looking on amazon or one of those places because they should have it, I haven't looked there myself and I need to.
  4. I apologise if I was being a bit rude, I never intended to insult everyone, I was a bit angry at the time and we can all be that way at times so I apologise again because Kimpunkrock is right that we should all say our opinions and even though I don't have a problem with Men in Black being on TCM, I can see that you all don't like the idea and I have come to understand that now.
  5. Absolutly! I don't think that the movie is a masterpiece either, I just love the on location fottage.
  6. I did not care for Red River that much, even though I love Howard Hawks but I prefer the early Howard Hawks films, like His Girl Friday and Bringing Up Baby, you can't beat those films.
  7. I like On the Town a lot, I think that it is a bit underrated, I love the use of location.
  8. I forgot, I also saw The Devil Wears Prada, which was an ok movie but it was not amazing or anything.
  9. I absolutly agree and I have had that happen to me a lot, but I do hope that you can get a chance to see Close Encounters. TCM is supposed to be airing it again in May so I hope that it will air in Canada then.
  10. Well, then sorry. I am happy, I have no reason to be sad. My health is good. I have good freinds and I have a good family and I love them all vey much. I have it made.
  11. Once again, nobody is perfect, you need to accept people. Everyone has somthing that they are not good at and that's ok. I have never been good at comunicating but nobody really is but that does not mean that they are stupid. I have always been good at painting and I like math a lot. By the way, my responces were not to be mean, you are just no mature enough and you don't actually listen depper to what people are really trying to say. I would never insult anyone, it's just that I get angery somtimes, we all do but I never intended to insult anyone, I was just trying to make people accept things a bit more, it's ok for Men in Black to be aired on TCM and while I don't like that film that much, TCM can air it if they want to. You just insult somone because he can't find a copy of Close Encounters. Message was edited by: Kubrickbuff
  12. There you go insulting people again for no reason. Just because I find somthing intersting you have to insult me fot it which does not make any sence. You need to accept people and stop insulting what people like, I have no problem that you like Casablanca.
  13. My responces were not to be mean, they were to put some respect into people. I never insulted a simple question like you do.
  14. You are very sad and bitter are you, stop insulting people, so what if I think that Lady in the Water looks interesting. You need to accept things a bit more.
  15. What does grammer have to do with anything, it's attitude and acceting things a bit more that makes a true adult. Not insult people like you do. Not everyone is good with grammer, we all have flawes it does not mean that they are stupid. Nobody is perfect, once you grow up you will understand that.
  16. Haven't seen any of those yet, Lady in the Water looks pretty interesting.
  17. I am not a teenager by the way but you sound like one, insulting a simple question from someone because you don't like the question. You have the attitude of a teenager when a mature person just would of simply not respoding to the question and also don't insult the person like you did.
  18. Man, you must be an unhappy person because you are just making up excuses to get back at somone because you have no clue what you are talking about. Stop trolling, you know that I am not trolling you are just making up excuses as obvious ways to get back at me, stop being rude and grow up, if not than go kill yourself because you sound very bitter.
  19. ..and at least he was talking about somthing that made sence. He was talking about how he can't find Close Encounters anywhere as opposed to wining about not wanting Men in Black to air just because you don't like the movie, to me that's wining about somthing pointless.
  20. I do agree that it is silly that A Guy Named Joe has not been released on DVD. By the way, I don't like your replys because they are rude. You don't like someones reply because you just don't like the question or the post and that is very negative, you sound pretty bitter and lonely and you just want every one else to feel the same.
  21. I do agree that Casablanca is an overrated film. It is really flawed and I did not find the love relationship to be that convincing. I do like some of the lines myself, I love when Bogart talks about coming to casablanca for the waters. Citizen Kane is overrated too, I love the art direction in that film but I did not find the plot to be that interesting. I would not say that Casablanca and Citizen Kane were disappointments to me, but I do think that they are a bit overrated, the classic films that disappointed me were To Have and Have Not and most of John Ford's movie. My favorite classic films are still Meet John Doe and The Diary of Anne Frank.

  23. ...as for Close Encounters not airing in canada. I don't understand that either and I am sorry for that because I know that you have been waiting for that movie to air. I wish I could find that movie in stores but none of them ever carry it, I have seen used copies of it but they always cost so much, like 39 $ so I feel for you in trying to get a copy of that movie.
  24. Hey, not nice. He was just asking a simple question. Show some respect. If you don't want to answer his question than you don't have to, but don't come back at him with a smart mouth remark just because you don't like his question. Man, some of you people make things so complicating.
  25. I just saw Little Miss Sunshine, which is this best movie I have seen this year. Brings back the style of Billy Wilder and Frank Capra.
