  1. It wasn't just The Grapes of Wrath, there are other ones that he and some other people said had aired and I looked at the detabase and there was no article under a lot of them so I am a bit confused.
  2. Is there another way I can find out if any movies on my schedule have aired or not?
  3. I don't care for the later Hitchcock films, I think that pcyho was his last good film.
  4. lzcutter said that some of the movies I would like to put on my schedule has already aired on TCM and I looked under the detabase and it siad that it hasn't aired yet so I don't what to do.
  5. Nope, TCM is still showing on my television, try it again and see what happens.
  6. I have never been good at comparing films and put them into catigorys, that's what is complicating for me about this challenge, I wish that we could just throw a random film into a schedule.
  7. So am I to understand that you hated Starman? That's fine with me.
  8. I thought that it had to be a paticular month of the year and that's why I did not put the month on the schedule, so am I to understand that it can be any month of the year?
  9. I may switch some movies around, I don't think that some of them belong. To be honest with you I don't really care for the movei Harold and Maude, the only reason I added it to the shedule was because I could not think of another film that delt with troubling teens, I think that I should create a new catigoary to to put A Clockwork Orange and Rushmore in. I don't think that City of Angels and Ghostbusters belong together and I still don't know where to put Jurrasic Park and Fargo. The classic films are easy to put together but these recent modern films are difficult. Where do you think I should put these?
  10. Do any of you know where I can put my more modern movies at, Jurrasic Park, City of Angels, Fargo, I don't know where to put these, all the classic films on my allmost figured out. Any suggestions? I am having to switch City of Angels, Jurrasic Park and Fargo around.
  11. I am still trying to figure out my schedule fully, that post that scedule that you saw was not my completed schedule, It will change and it won't be the way that is now, it will have more movies and some movies will be switched around. I just typed that so I can be sure that I am doing it right before I complete my schedule, trust me it's not my real schedule, just a test.
  12. Well here is what I got so far and the only reason why I am showing you all the schedule that I have come up with so far is because I want to be sure if I am typing it down correctly, now the schedule is not full complete yet but I am only showing you all this because I want to know if I am doing it right, Sunday Technology gone awry, 8:PM The Time Machine (1960) MGM 10:PM 2001: A Space Odyssy (1968) MGM 12:45 AM Blade Rnner: The Director's Cut (1982) Warner Brothers 3:00 AM The Terminator (Premire) (1984) Orion Pictures Haven't completed this one yet Thrsday Salute to Frank Capra, (Haven't completed this one yet but this is how it looks so far) 8:00 AM Meet John Doe (1941) Warner Brothers 10:00 AM Arsinic and Old Lace (1944) Warner Brothers 12:00 PM Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936) Columbia Pictures 2:00 PM Lost Horizon (1937) Columbia Pictures 4:00 PM It Happend One Night (1934) Columbia Pictures 6:00 PM Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939) Columbia Pictures Salute to film composer Alfred Newman, 8:PM Heaven Can Wait (1943) 20th Centurey Fox 10:PM The Diary of Anne Frank (1959) 20th Century Fox 1:00 AM The Grapes of Wrath (1940) 20th Century Fox 3:30 AM All About Eve (1950) 20th Century Fox Haven't completed the daytime scedule for friday but here is my night time scedule, Friday Troubled Teens 8:PM The Graduate (1967) MGM 10:00 PM Rushmore (1998) (Premire) Touchstone Pictures (Bena Vista) 12:00 AM Harold and Maude (1971) Paramount) 2:00 AM A Clockwork Orange (1971) (Premire) Warner Brothers Haven't completed yet Saturday, Romantic Comady (Cary Grant) 6:00 AM My Favorite Wife (1940) RKO 8:00 AM The Bacheler and the Bobby Soxer (1947) RKO 10:00 AM An Afair to Remember (1957) 20th Century Fox 12:00 PM Monkey Buisness (1952) 20th Century Fox 2:00 PM To Catch A Thief (1955) Paromount 4:00 PM Bringing Up Baby (1938) RKO 6:00 PM The Phladelphia Story (1940) Heven't thought of a title for this schedule but there is a part of me that thinks that they are simiular. 8:00 PM A Guy Named Joe (1943) 10:00 PM Ghostbusters (Premire) (1984) Columbia Pictures 12:00 AM City of Angels (1998) Warner Brothers 2:00 AM Harvey (1950) Columbia Haven't completed it yet I am trying to find a way to get Jurassic Park and Fargo into the schedule Like I said this is not my final schedule, I promise you that it will changed and it will be differnent by the time I finish it but the only reason I did this was to make sure that I am doing this right before I make my real schedule.
  13. Do you think that I could just suggest some films and they will put it on the schedule because I am having difficult time trying to do this challenge. I have my sunday, thursday, friday and saturday night scedule and I am having a hard time with the day time scedule plus the monday, tuesday and wednesday line up. I guss we take for granted how hard it is for these television stations to come up with a complete schedule 24 hours and 7 days a week, thank god we only have to do it for one week.
  14. I came up with my sunday, tursday, friday, and saturday night scedule but I am still not sure what to show during the day so I may need some time.
  15. Hi filmlover, I am going to go with the Alfred Newman idea because I am actually a huge fan of his work.
  16. Same here, I don't judge movies by how old or new they are, but some of my favorite films came out in the decades that I mentioned below.
  17. Where exactly do I print the schedule to? Do I post it on the board or is it somthing else?
  18. All I now is that, The Diary of Anne Frank has to be on my schedule but I don't know what other movies to put it with and what genre to put it with because I have never been good at naming genres.
  19. My favorite generation of films include the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50, (some from the 70s but not a lot), 80s, 90s and some from 2000 to today. I did not care fot the 60s that much.
  20. ...And by the way, I am allowed to choose any film or will it have to be somthing in paticular because It looks like I am only allowed to choose a film from a paticular studio.
