Wow, JF, I was looking at the same and thinking that too... Then, I thought, No, the polar opposite of MM would be Hedy Lamar. The influence of your favorite brunettes is seeping in

Haven't Portrait of Jenny (yet) or Ruby Gentry. Those are great selections. The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit is one I will catch up with a little later. The winter is long here, and I will have the time..

Does anyone but me wonder how busy the Obit section of TCM must be? I know that Newspapers/news room don't have the time to contribute to these appropriately, but I hope TCM realizes that things get busy at the end of the year. Lost both my parents and a beloved aunt between Thanksgiving and Christmas, different years. My story isn't that unusual either.

I think my future in screenwriting is assured if her review is what passes as filmic annotation now..

I have seen the TCM Remembers 2009, but currently I don't have cable, so I haven't see a specific one for JJ. I was watching Love Letters again. Jennifer totally makes me buy her character. What a performance. I may watch Since You Went Away today or tomorrow. Shame TCM doesn't have Cluny Brown right now.
I'll run my own tribute.

She has GOT to be putting us on. No one is THAT dense!

Thank you, nightwalker! I was at a loss, and my search words were proving insufficient. I do appreciate the help.

Thanks for the clips... Timeless Beauty has wonderful music backing it.

Wonderful, JF Her roles are unforgettable.

I am on the search for The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit. She was so real and so brittle in that role, and she gave her character such depth. Even though the films live on, and we are so fortunate to have discovered her for ourselves, still feel for the loss of this truly giving and loving woman.
Thank you TCM for being here. I don't know if we could have possibly loved her as well without you.

One Hollywood's loveliest, and one the best. I am so grateful she graced us with her talent and her presence. I wish I was in LA right now; I would like to leave flowers at the Norton Simon.

Shoes?! I didn't notice any shoes that were incredible... ;-)

Oops. First off, my error:
It's Jackaaay! Haha, see Jake's music thread...
Not wanting to go off serious tangent here, but another Brunette I'm particularly fond of is Paul Gross:

He was in the series Due South, and I can recommend you see his series, *Slings & Arrows*, -you can find at Netflicks..

We all have those moments, no matter what our ages.
Cubswin? I like your tenacity!
I do like movies with happy endings, and if not happy, at least closure (redemption). Let real life continue on though, with our life story in continual bliss....
Other perfect endings, in keeping with the season:
*White Christmas* (1954)
*Holiday Inn* (1941)
*To Each His Own* (1946)
*Meet John Doe* (1940)
