Settle down. The subject is the noble one of the Marines.

I love the Criterion selections, but I know what you mean. I am only wishing I was on a fixed income right now..

Sorry, but in the opposite of the Christmas spirit, NBC does have a stranglehold of IAWF for some time to come. I recommend it to your video shelf. I adore Capra, and I will be enjoying the Christmas movies next month. We must make do until those clenched fingers loosen their grip.

Thanks JF, What a wonderful heartfelt song. I wonder where that park is where they are shot it? Great location.
I'm working on a new script: Interrupted Kiss is the working title. It has flashbacks to the Groovy Sixties in London. The music will provide a great inspiration point. I had been using Gerry and the Pacemakers and Rolling Stones, but your choice is much better.
Brother theme continues, till Jake makes us stop:

h3. Spoiler Alert
Thank you for the encouragement. If you haven't seen Cinema Paradiso, *don't* open the link..
If you have seen it, well it's what we all want . . .

So sorry, CineMaven, I missed it this time. I didn't return from a weekend with girlfriends (writing our screenplays) till Sunday PM. I did like lzcutter listings the best, so I am happy she won.
Does the Programming thread change with each new challenge? Couldn't find it Friday morn, before I left for the weekend..

Anyone have any advice for how to cope during Divorce purgatory? Time between papers being settled and decree awarded. How did women (and men) get through it- while 6 weeks in Reno? I only need to wait about ... *6 weeks!!*

It was a rough day... I'm sorry. Time to rebuild...

Seriously, Gus, I read the screenplay last night when I couldn't sleep. *Every Line is recognizable*, and can be quoted.

I sent this to cheer us up.

Gus. I agree with you, but I know many men who insist that The Godfather is the most quotable.

Music OK?
Eric Clapton:

This helps. You never really know who's out there.
I guess I'm a hopeless romantic by my music choices.. Is that OK?

Ah, Casablanca. I believe every line of that film is immortal. It is to me what I think The Searchers is to you. The scene in Rick's apartment above his cafe is so moving.

Ingrid Bergman (Ilsa Lund)
imho, the greatest Hollywood movie ever..

Hello, Rupert! Holding down the fort whilst I was away in the wilds of Wisconsin? Thanks for mentioning Paulette Goddard.
Check out favorite lines for my favorite line from a wonderful brunette who could deliver.

This was so hard! Everyone had such great movies lined up! It was really difficult to choose. But, for me, by a hair, it will be *lzcutter.* Her listings were wonderfully interesting and if she doesn't mind my sayin', delightfully quirky!
*Good luck Lynn!!*

I maybe a Twins fan during the season (simply for I live the area), but I think the Yankees showed the world their dominance. I'm with you, Jake; this is *the great baseball team.*
When are they showing *Damn Yankees* ? It is a fun movie....

I love the Primrose Path. An interesting movie. One of Ginger's better ones, I think too.

It's so nice you did brothers, Jake. I think you had a terrific idea.
Ok, so maybe there's a sister here. Nothing wrong with sisters; I'm one!
