Thank you for the gentle correction. I will fix it.

You are proving the observation I heard in '97 that if you want to see Hollywood actors (back then), go to Tower Records on Sunset or Nate and Al's Deli on Beverly Dr.

Love those. Could picture the late sun weaving golds and reds in the Rio horizon. When listening, uncovered this one with Astrud, First heard in my older brother's collection (he loves cool jazz) and it's wonderful:
BTW: Love that George Straight "All My Ex's Live in Texas"
Edited by: casablancalover on Nov 3, 2009 9:08 AM, for she forgot for a moment and made Astrud Scandinavian.

Me, too. I used to worry what would happen after I got married, and how attractive I would look going to bed like that. Man, the stuff that kept me awake at night! The Conair hand-held hair dryer saved my illusion of 24-hour beauty! ;-)

May I recommend my favorite Neil Diamond:

I had a great flip, in Junior High. Used those Big-axx rollers going down till the last row, curling up. I was glad the style ended (I stopped before MTM or Marlo), It was too uncomfortable sleeping in curlers.

Check out Jake's thread of Favorites too; he is featuring Elvis on Sunday, and the selections are wonderful.
To my latino neighbors, enjoy your Day of the Dead. I will try to get to festivities there before I go to work. Sadly, I work on Sundays now.

Are we sure she's a pirate? Maybe she's a buccaneer.

I don't think there is anything as good as 30s-40s cheesecake photos. My dad had hidden Playboys around the house (of course I found them!) and they just didn't have that creativity...

Is apparently none at all. Halloween is the time for those who are angels get to have some real fun for a change. Party responsibly tonight, and if you can't, at least remember where you were and with whom so you can apologize later.
Don't forget the Strega.
Enjoy the clip:

Something so sweet on a scary night coming. Thank you!

Super WOW. His role in Airplane! alone would have sealed it for me. I thought for sure his brother, James Arness was already recognized and I see that he was..(For Gunsmoke -not the The Thing )
